I don't support private prisons or the commercialization of any system that incarcerates or confines people against their will. I believe Judges should be in control of their sentencing, and that some synthesized drugs are too dangerous to be legal. | |||

| I believe that government is generally inefficient and not effective in their spending. We the people, are often the best stewards of their own money and reduced taxes and bureaucracy has proven to be more effective in stimulating long term economic growth. I support reduced regulations on the private sector including eliminating a state minimum wage. I don't support hand outs to businesses but do support tax and regulatory relief is overdue. I think we need to rethink property rights in this state and allow people the liberty to do more with the property that they rightfully own. | |||

Every time we have spent more money in this state on education our children's test scores have gone down. I support allowing the parent to decide where their child's education dollars are spent whether that be home, charter, private, co-operative, or public school settings. People residing in this country illegally should not be eligible for any tax payer dollars in any way shape or form. | |||

I do believe that people and companies should look into becoming as energy independent as they can as our energy sources are no longer stable. I don't believe in electric cars due to the massive amount of raw materials needed to produce one single car. Current battery technology does not support mass adoption of electric cars but may make sense in buildings. New energy sources and storage should be looked at and brought online as they become practical. Common sense should prevail. | |||

I believe that an independent commission devoted to preserving community representation should be used for redistricting. Voting is a sacred right and responsibility and we should treat it as such by requiring security measures that help reduce fraud. Automatic registration is never a good idea for anything. People need to opt into the process and protect the sanctity of their vote. | |||

| Government has no role in treating anyone. Faith based, non governmental organizations, as well as private practices should be empowered to tackle addiction. Socialized medicine has never worked and healthcare is not a human right. Healthcare providers are supposed to, "do no harm" and I consider their assistance in an individuals suicide to violate that oath. I don't believe in mandatory vaccinations or forced medical procedures on the general populace. I don't believe in government telling businesses that they have to pay for employees when they are not at work or telling companies how much they can charge for drugs. | |||

I believe these to be in line with how sex has been determined throughout human history and see no reason to digress from that because of fashionable fads and trends in human sociology. Emotional conditions are not conducive to scientific conclusions. Regulating what a person has to accept or not accept runs contrary to a free thinking society. I don't believe in legislating morality but do believe in protecting people who choose to be moral. | |||
| My number one priority is to ensure that parents are recognized as the primary stakeholders in their children's upbringing. We need a government that recognizes it is subservient to the people and is not a guardian over the people. I will tirelessly seek to tie education dollars to students and let parents decide where their children go to school. I will seek to tear down legislative burdens that have hampered our agricultural sectors and encourage self sufficiency across our counties. I will establish a truly representative district where constituents have a seat at the table as important stakeholders. | |||
| My number one priority is to have our government officially recognize and codify into law that parents are the primary stakeholders in their children's upbringing. They are responsible for and have authority over every aspect including education, religious, and healthcare decisions until that child turns 18. We want the same thing our ancestors did when they established this great nation. The ability to fall in love and raise a family in your own ways, faith, and traditions without interference. Governments only role is to preserve that liberty. I seek to reduce government to its most basic form. |
